Driving Directions:
- From Highway 97D to Logan Lake (Meadow Creek Road), turn onto the Paska Lake Road.
- Stay on the Paska Lake Road past the Paska Lake Rec Site.
- The main road ends at Mile High Resort. There is visitor’s parking there and a fee is required.
- An alternative is to drive the rough road around the west side of the lake to an informal boat launch/camping area on the west arm.
Boat Launch
- At Mile High Lodge is a boat launch by the campground or a hand launch off the beach area. A fee is required to park and launch. Staff are welcoming and friendly.
Shoreline
- A paddle around the lakeshore is about 5.8 km.
- At 4800 feet this is a forested lake in the high country.
Pros
- A pleasant quiet lake.
Cons
- No free public access unless you have a 4×4, but even then it is a difficult road.
- A later season for ice-off and access.
