Paska Lake is a great lake to paddle and it is worth the drive to the Rec Site.

Directions and Launch:

  • Turn off the Coquihalla Highway at Exit 336 (Meadow Creek Road to Logan Lake).
  • Turn onto the signed Paska Lake FSR.
  • The BC Rec Site is signed and easy to spot.
  • Drive down into the campground to the boat launch.
  • There is lots of parking near the outhouses.

Shoreline:

  • There are private homes along the northwest shoreline.
  • The campground is on the west side of the lake.
  • There is a long marsh channel at the southwest corner to explore.
  • Most of the shoreline is forested.
  • A paddle around the lake is about 4 km.
  • When the marsh is open (spring and early summer), we can paddle down the channel for 0.5 km.

Pros:

  • A quiet spot for the most part.
  • Good access to the lake.

Cons:

  • Prime times on weekends in summer can be busy.
  • Lots of quads in the area.
  • A late ice-off date.
