Directions:

Drive south on the Lac le Jeune Road for about 20 km.   Turn in to the signed Stake Lake area.

Boat Launch:

There is a good boat launch and lots of parking.

Shoreline

• there are hiking trails around the lake, but no cabins or homes
• there are marshy areas and some marl shoals

Pros:

• it is rarely too busy
• the water is very clear
• a good destination for a paddle with a hike

Cons

• a late ice-off date
• highway noise
