Shuswap River Paddling — 2 Comments

  1. This is a great route and the salmon are incredible this year. If you can get out you should. We called a cab from Enderby and it cost $38 (without tip) to get a lift from Trinity Bridge back up to our car at Cookes Creek. Cell phone coverage starts a short distance upriver of the bridge. The tourism booth in Enderby is very helpful for current river conditions. Thanks for putting up this information!

  2. I would just like to mention the river volume changes during the season. July might be more challenging in the upper reaches and September seems ideal for less experienced paddlers? Then the lower reaches below Enderby and even Grindrod might be a better choice then. I mention that as I have family hoping to visit next July.
